- Cunnamulla Golf Club – in-kind support to repair potholes on the internal road to the clubhouse.
- Noorama Picnic Racing & Community Group – grant of $3,000 towards Cunnamulla Rowing’s participation in the 2025 ORA Regatta.
Grant Funding
Council has been successful with its application to the Remote Jobs and Economic Development Program. It has received funding over three years from the Federal Government towards the employment of an Indigenous Trainee Tourism Officer. Applications for the position will be advertised once the funding agreement has been finalized.
Our application for funding under the State Government Country Roads Connect Program has also been successful and will provide a total of $3.75M over three years for additional construction work on the Jobs Gate Road. It has been a long standing plan to bitumen seal this road to the NSW border and this funding will enable Council to reduce the timeframe in which this project can be completed.
Tenders for Plant & Machinery
Tenders were considered for the purchase of new Plant and Machinery in accordance with Council’s five year Plant Replacement Plan and the Council resolved to purchase the following items:-
- Two UD Prime Movers from Western Truck Group

- Six Ford Ranger Utilities and two Ford Everest SUVs from Southwest Ford Nissan.
