Recent Rainfall and Road Update

Widespread rain has finally fallen across Paroo Shire.

Our gravel and dirt road network is very wet. Motorists should not use two wheel drive vehicles on dirt roads as there is a high likelihood of getting stuck.

Some minor flooding is also occurring in places, so people should use caution as all times.

The Eulo-Hungerford road is closed to traffic.

Access to Yowah and Toompine via Paroo Shire is cut with the Alroy Crossing currently sitting at 0.4m and Bundoona Crossing at 0.5m.

Access from Eulo to Thargomindah is now closed as the Eulo Bridge is currently 0.4m. 

Please stay off the unsealed road network as much as possible until the weather clears up.
