Council would like to thank the residents of Eulo for their continued patience and understanding whilst we address the current water issue.
The cause of the recent water issue impacting Eulo on Tuesday was the result of the bore pump burning out.  The reason for this occurring has yet to be determined but a number of climatic factors are the likely cause, potentially from the higher than normal temperatures.

Council staff have removed the burnt-out pump and a new one has been ordered. The new pump is coming from South Australia.  Unfortunately, that means there will be a time delay in it getting to Eulo. Current expectations are arrival late next week, possibly early the following week.
The Council team restored water to the township on the day of the pump failure and will continue to ensure water is available for public use via a combination of direct pumping from the second bore supplemented by the use of tanker water.

Currently, replenishment of the reservoir is matching water usage. Therefore, we request you conserve water, and the sprinkler ban will remain in place until the new pump is installed.
If you experience any issues with your water, please contact our dedicated water team on (07) 465 8400 or after-hours on 0428 764 362.
