Remote Working: For Businesses and Professionals

Sunday 17 November 2019
10am - 12.30pm
Cunnamulla Fella Visitor Centre
2 Jane St, Cunnamulla

We want people to move to and stay in the Paroo Shire, and a way of encouraging this is to broaden the scope of work opportunities for both individuals and businesses.

Businesses in regional Australia often find their biggest barrier to growth (or survival!) is access to skilled employees. At the same time, there is an abundance of professionals living all over Australia who possess qualifications, skills and experience, but much of this talent is sitting idle or underutilised.

This Remote Working Forums aim to build confidence in both businesses owners and professionals to consider remote work as an option for business growth and employment. They provide an insight into working and employing remotely and demonstrations of the technology that is available to do so.

Thank you to the Augeathella & District Progress Assn for starting this initiative and including Paroo in the forum schedule. The forums have been funded by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal's Tackling Tough Times Together Program.
